![]() ![]() ![]() The PM Cyber will be responsible for executing the strategy for the application of the System Security Engineering process to design a CSC Ship which comprise integrated systems that support the CSC missions while adequately protecting RCN assets. The Security Solution will address the Mission Protection Needs of the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) throughout the system lifecycle. The Program Manager Cybersecurity (PM Cyber) will lead the Cybersecurity Cross Product Team (CPT) to design and implement the overall System Security solutions for the warship including the Combat, Ship and Information Systems. The program is currently in the design phase with work underway to exit the Preliminary Design Review (PDR). (Lockheed Martin) the major subcontractor to provide the Ship Design and the Combat System. (ISI) is the Prime contractor to the Government of Canada and Lockheed Martin Canada Inc. This project will also help revitalize the Canadian shipbuilding industry, sustaining and creating long-term sustainable, high-tech jobs in Canada for next 3-4 decades, enabling our ability to support the ships domestically when in service. The CSC project is the largest and most complex shipbuilding initiative in Canada since World War II. ![]() ![]() Canada’s defence policy, “Strong, Secure, Engaged” (SSE), has committed to investing in 15 CSC ships. The Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) will be an advanced and modern combat ship, equipped with next generation technology to capably support and protect the men and women of the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) as they fulfil their wide range of missions around the world, from humanitarian assistance to high-intensity conflicts, for the next 40+ years. ![]()
